While the rudimentary old-school PONG game vs. stunning Ghost of Tsushima seems tantamount to comparing a child’s crayon drawing to a Van Gogh, don’t underestimate how addictive the retro video game can be. You can call it the forefather of the video game, and you’d be right. Mini PONG Jr. is a standalone small console video game for one or two players, and it features a 7.9-inch LCD monochromatic screen with two control dials. In single mode, there are 10 levels of difficulty, while in two-player mode it’s mano-a-mano. Rechargeable and pluggable, Mini PONG Jr. can go anywhere and should make the monotony of a ball and paddle feel exhilarating. Look for it to go on sale sometime this coming holiday season.
